First look at official Docker images and Kubernetes Helm charts for MariaDB

MariaDB is excited to release the first official Docker images and Kubernetes scripts for running stateful MariaDB clusters on containers, complete with sandboxes for getting started with MariaDB TX and MariaDB AX.

In addition, this release includes Docker Compose and Kubernetes scripts for deploying MariaDB clusters, sample data (bookstore), Adminer for managing data in MariaDB TX and an Apache Zeppelin notebook for analytics with MariaDB AX.

We'll also provide an overview of the official Docker images and Kubernetes scripts for MariaDB, explain how to deploy stateful MariaDB clusters, introduce the sample data generator and give a live demo of MariaDB AX with Apache Zeppelin.
