MariaDB Server is the first and only open source database to implement temporal tables – and unlike most proprietary databases, it supports system-versioned tables, application-time tables and bitemporal tables with standard SQL.
Temporal tables are used when data and its validity change over time, and they allow that data to be queried based on transaction time (when it was considered valid by the database), valid time (when it was considered valid by the business) or both.
In this webinar, we'll take a deep dive into the use and management of temporal tables – everything from enabling system versioning and creating time period, querying historical data and managing data growth over time.
Watch this webinar to:
• Get a comprehensive overview of temporal tables
• See the use cases for storing and querying temporal data
• Learn how to query various types of temporal tables
